Questa è però la questione che da sempre impegna il filosofo: in Differenza e While the metaphysical troika of Spinoza, Nietzsche and Bergson¹ which oversaw Deleuze’s tumultuous ‘philosophical apprenticeship’² presents us with the potent, if controversial, image of a sort of philosophical counter-tradition – in which a Bergsonised Spinoza accompanies a Spinozistic Nietzsche and a Nietzschean Bergson – estimating Deleuze’s relationship to the galaxy of Analysing Spinoza’s ‘conceptual apparatus’, Deleuze focuses on his turn to social philosophy based on the theories of natural law and social contract. Instead of an ontology, Spinoza formulated his own Ethics , defined God as a universal immanent substance and people and things as its modes and attributes. Expressionism, Deleuze's philosophical commentary on Spinoza, is a critically important work because its conclusions provide the foundations for Deleuze's later metaphysical speculations on the nature of power, the body, difference and singularities. Deleuze and Spinoza is the first book to examine Deleuze's philosophical assessment of Spinoza and Deleuze: I can answer only on the following point: what does Spinoza tell us about this?
There’s a potency in this ethics-as-ethology, in defining any body (animal, human, thought, “a body of sounds”) by the affects of which it is capable. Spinoza’s ethics has nothing to do with a morality; he conceives it as an ethology, that is, a composition of fast and slow speeds, of capacities for affecting and being affected on this plane of immanence or consistency. Spinoza: Practical Philosophy is a book by the philosopher Gilles Deleuze, in which the author examines Baruch Spinoza's philosophy, discussing Ethics and other works such as the Tractatus Theologico-Politicus, providing a lengthy chapter defining Spinoza's main concepts in dictionary form. Deleuze relates Spinoza's ethical philosophy to the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche and Willem van Blijenbergh, a grain broker who corresponded with Spinoza in the first half of 1665 and questioned the ethics In this seminar, Deleuze revisits his examination of Baruch Spinoza’s philosophy. Deleuze had previously published two books on Spinoza: Expressionism in Philosophy: Spinoza (Spinoza et le problème de l'expression, 1968), and Spinoza: Practical Philosophy (Spinoza – Philosophie pratique, 1970, 2nd ed. 1981). The majority of these lectures were given the same year as the publication of the second edition of the latter title, and hence these sessions were clearly informed by this new Attention has been drawn to Spinoza by deep ecologists such as Arne Naess, the Norwegian philosopher; and this reading of Spinoza by Deleuze lends itself to a radical ecological ethic.
Note that it is going to have to be a Deleuze who reads a transition in the history of philosophy. It thus presupposes a Deleuzian approach to the history of philosophy.

Deleuze relates Spinoza's ethical philosophy to the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche and Willem van Blijenbergh, a grain broker who corresponded with Spinoza in the first half of 1665 and Heidegger places a great emphasis upon the epistemic role of mood, and specifically, in this context, upon anxiety – and with the usual stipulations, we could argue that he has a unique, and seemingly more open relationship with the (negative) emotional aspect of existence than does Spinoza.
